In 1887, Oregon passed a law recognising Labor Day, and in 1894, Congress made the first week of September a legal holiday. Thank you to everyone who contributes to the prosperity and well-being of our economy.
In addition to all the hard-working men and women, let’s not forget the four-legged workers, the Assistance Dogs.
The four-legged service dogs, including:
1. Guide dogs who assist the blind and visually impaired
2. Mobility assistance dogs that encourage and company for people with reduced mobility
3. Hearing dogs for the hearing impaired
4. Autism support dogs
5. Drug detection dogs at the forefront of operations
There are also dogs such as court courthouse facility dogs, medical response dogs, sheepdogs and many more.
Dogs are not only important family members who are with us every moment of our lives but their members are trained through hard work and tedium to help give more people a quality of life. They don’t speak, they don’t get angry that you don’t see the results of their work, but they will keep wagging their tails happily for a compliment.
Thank you, dear four-legged friends, for your selfless love.
